Marking Period One Grade Reporting 
Marking Period 1 ended on November 6th. The grade reporting schedule for Marking Period 1 is as follows:

Wall of Honor at BHS
Nominations are now being accepted for the fifth Wall of Honor Induction at Bernards High School.  A total of approximately 40 people have been inducted in the previous 4 induction ceremonies. We are looking to celebrate those who graduated 10 or more years ago and have achieved greatness in their career/life and/or have greatly contributed to the Bernards High School community.  Click here for more information.  The final date for submissions is December 6, 2019 with the induction ceremony in April 2020.

Giving Tree Gift Drive
Please join the Sophomore class for the Annual Deirdre's House Giving Tree gift drive. Deirdre's House is the Center in Morris County for child victims of abuse and/or neglect and for children that have witnessed violence.    If interested in picking from the Giving Tree, contact Ms. Kelly Clark ( for more information on how you can help with the donations.   All donations must be new and unwrapped and are due by 12/5/19.   Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

New Jersey Scholars Program for Current Juniors
The New Jersey Scholars Program is an intensive academic program for 39 of the most intelligent, outgoing, and highly motivated students in NJ. During the five-week summer residential program, the Scholars explore a specific topic from an interdisciplinary perspective. The tuition-free program takes place on the historic Lawrenceville School campus. Students who wish to be considered by BHS for a nomination must submit a 100-word response by November 26th.  Click here for more information.  

Save the Date: BHS Comedy "Mystery at Whimbowly Manor" Nov 22-24
Bernards High School will present its fall play, "Mystery at Whimbowly Manor," on Friday, November 22 at 7PM, Saturday, November 23 at 2 PM and 7PM, and Sunday, November 24 at 2PM in the BHS Performing Arts Center. You don't want to miss this screwball comedy that follows a bumbling detective as he searches for a stolen necklace at the White family's estate. Accusations fly right and left and comical misunderstandings multiply in this family-friendly play. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for senior citizens and $15 for adults and will be sold at the door at each performance. For additional information, please email

Catalyst's ACT Bootcamp for Bernards is next weekend! This momentum building weekend seminar gives students the insight and confidence they need on the day of the test. Students will also leave with Catalyst's self-study materials for sustained practice right up until the test. Tuition for each Bootcamp is just $175. The ACT Bootcamp at BHS Saturday, June 2nd from 9am-1pm and Sunday, June 3rd from 9am-1pm.  Deadline is May 30th!
