On Thursday, October 19th, at 7 PM, The Somerset Hills School District will be conducting a test of its emergency alert notification system. A test message will be sent to parents/guardians via phone call, text message, and email.
Only parents who have “opted in” to receive text messages prior to the test will receive the text message. If you received text messages from SHSD and/or your student’s school earlier this year, no action is necessary. If you have not received text messages previously, it is very easy to opt in; all that you need to do is text Y to 67587. Click here for details in English and Spanish.
The emergency alert system is used to notify parents and guardians in the event of an emergency cancellation or to relay important information to parents and guardians throughout the school year. If you do not receive the test message via phone, text message and/or email from Somerset Hills School District, please click here and complete/submit the Google Form.
