This Weekend Spring Musical
Friday, March 10 - Sunday, March 12, BHS Theater will present the comedy musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." Six teenaged spellers enter, one leaves a champion – complete with audience participation. The three day showing at the Bernards High Performing Arts Center includes evening (7PM) and matinee (2PM) performances. Click here for details on show times and tickets sales. Beginning Monday New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA)
BHS will administer the state-mandated NJGPA assessment to all 11th graders this March, during the regularly scheduled school day. Click here for more information and testing dates.

New Escape the Vape Webinar
Empower Somerset is hosting a free webinar for families entitled Escape the Vape. In 2022, more than 2.5 million U.S. middle and high school students used e-cigarettes. 46% of high schoolers reported to vape almost every day (U.S. FDA). Updated Next Monthly Meeting
Our next public monthly board meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 15th beginning at 5:30pm for a public ethics board training. The board will then go into executive session from 6:30 - 7:30pm and return for the open public meeting at 7:30pm. There will be a preliminary budget presentation to obtain approval to submit to the county this month. The public budget presentation will take place at our meeting on April 26th. New In Case You Missed It
The HSA meeting held on Tuesday 3/7 featured guest speaker Dr. Suzi Millar, BHS Rutgers Behavioral Healthcare Consultant. The presentation focused on understanding youth mental wellness, how depression and anxiety present in children and specific strategies for supporting adolescents.
